Project 365: Day 361 – A rainy and lazy day in Chennai

27th June 2015 – Chennai, India

There is one more adventure left for me.
And I should head out soon to get into it.
But the rain feels incessantly malicious today,
I am going to bide my time, and just sit.
Rains in Chennai, India

Looks like this will be the best view I get for the day – chennai, India

I should be leaving Chennai already. The last part of my trip involved riding home to Kerala, from Chennai with my bike. But through the Southern coastal route, passing by Chidambaram, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, and Trivandrum. The only problem: I can’t get out of Chennai.
I should have left yesterday evening towards Mahabalipuram, but a freak rain had me grounded in the evening. And today, I was all packed and ready in the morning. Only to be grounded again because of the rain.
Riding is fun in India, and I did a whole trip around the country last year to prove it. But the difference now is the season. Last year, when I started my ride from Kerala to Kolkata, it was already September and the monsoon had almost past. But now, I was planning a ride in the thick of monsoon!
The next couple of weeks is going to be fun. I am just glad I dont have to blog daily after another 4 days.
