Project 365: Day 273 – From Paris to Prague

31st March 2015 – Prague, Czech Republic

In light of recent events, turbulence is never
A joy ride. But we braved it, and also braved the wind.
Before the cold pushed us back into our crypt,
We saw a place where mad max and matrix intertwined.
Auto parts sculpture prague czech republic

Don’t know what it is, but it is made of auto parts – Prague, Czech republic

We took the afternoon flight from Paris, to Prague, where we had a larger reunion planned.

Prague is pretty laid back, and if not for the biting winter cold, this could easily be one of my favourite places on this trip. But the weather would prevent me from making that choice, beginning with the worst turbulence that I have ever experienced in my life. The strong winds almost send the plane cartwheeling, and there were rejoicing claps around the flight when we finally landed.

We found ourselves a hostel in Prague 7 district, which came complete with a swimming pool and Sauna! After settling in, we decided to check the neighbourhood, and buy some groceries. And that bought us to Cross club.

Mad max meets matrix. Thats how you can describe the Cross club. There are various sculpture outside the club, all of which have one common feature. They were made from auto parts.

For the life of me, I couldn’t even figure out half of the sculptures, but nevertheless, they did look cool at their best. We admired it for sometime, then rushed back to protect us from the cold wind.
