Project 365: Day 259 – The man with the diabolo

17th March 2015 – Vienna, Austria

The square had its calling again, but where
There were cries of ‘free syria’ a day ago,
There was a street performer. My own choices
Of travelling, keep tossing in the air like that diabolo.
diabolo, performer, vienna, austria, travel, photography

Two and a toss! – Vienna, Austria

Today was actually my last day in Vienna. It was one of the most stupidest decisions on my trip so far, to spend only 3 days here. But I already had polskibus tickets booked to Warsaw. something tells me that I will come back to Vienna in April, because I still have many things to see here.

So, I spent most of the day roam around the innere stadt – for yet another day –  and around the Stephanzplatz. But where I had seen the Kurdish demonstration a couple of days ago, now was a street performer with diabolo. I’ve seen quite a few diabolo performances before, but this guy was really good. So, I ended up clicking him for some time and then went back home to pack.

In the evening, I said goodbye to Ju and his girlfriend, who dropped me off at the OBB bus terminal in Vienna, where I had my bus to Warsaw. Polskibus is interesting, because it is luxurious enough to have free wifi on board, but still has cramped seats, with very little leg space.

I am not sure how groggy I will look when I reach Warsaw tomorrow.
