Project 365: Day 210 – Hanging like droplets

27th January 2015 – Gorukle, Turkey

The clouds gave way to cold rain and snuggles.
And they dangled on my window ledge, ready to burst.
I am a lazy man today, can’t help it even if I could.
I should to do some sightseeing, but I think I’ll chill first.
Gorukle, turkey, water, rain, travel, photography

Hanging in there like the droplets – Gorukle, Turkey

Last night, after the art academy episode, I met with some new Turkish friends who took me to a salsa club in Gorukle. I was pleasantly surprised to see some good salsa being danced there. I did a little bit of my chicken dance, and went back to crash at my place.
And woke up with the icy chill of a morning breeze on my face, thanks to a window which I had left open. And to make things worse, it was raining. Turkey is very cold during January, as I had already found in Ankara. But when it rains, the cold is somehow intensified much more. I clicked a quick picture outside my window, and then snuggled back into my blanket.
The rest of the day went with some cooking, thanks to Isa and Ibrahim. And the day ended with some Turkish Raki.
