Project 365: Day 191 – From Hostel Unawatuna, with love.

8th January 2015 – Unawatuna, Sri Lanka

When the tedious chores of laundry were set aside,
I had to deal with the torrential downpour that Sri lanka brings.
And when the hostel became an abode for another day,
I was content with daybeds, flowers and all the little things.

The weather forced me to chill again today. – Unawatuna, Sri Lanka

I had one more day in Unawatuna, before leaving to  Maldives. And the plan was to go out a little bit. But there was an unexpected torrential rain, and my plan turned ever so quickly.

I ended up holed up in hostel Unawatuna the whole day. But luckily, there were some things to do. For one, there were some nifty daybeds, which were my laundry lines in the morning, and then my reading space after lunch. And there was a neat, little garden with flowers. And even an inflatable pool, as small as it may be.

Towards the end of the day, I started packing my stuff. It was time to leave Sri Lanka for a bit and head to Maldives for 5 days. I will have to be back, because Bahrain spoiled a small portion of my travel agenda.

Well, more about that tomorrow.
