Project 365: Day 170 – Thats all from the motorcycle, folks

18th December 2014 – Chennai, India

I felt like an amputee today, who lost his wheels somewhere on the way.
To wake up in a foreign land, and start looking for his bike keys.
Only to realise that the motorcycle episode has ended now.
After a fight with myself, the victor is clear. I am totally at peace.
kerala to kolkata

The final route, before i shipped my bike.

I came to Chennai today morning, and slept at my brother’s house. Almost the whole day.

Only to wake up at night, and realise that I have not clicked anything for the day. I took my bike keys, and was about to step outside, when I realised. There was no more bike. The motorbike is still on its way from Kolkata, and would take about 5-7 days. And I will be going to Kerala shortly too, and then onwards to Sri Lanka.

So, effectively, this was the end of the Motorcycle diaries.

It has been a tremendous 3 months, riding through the heart of the amazing Indian subcontinent. And I can’t thank enough the people whom I have met along the way, who have kept me company and entertained through it all.

So, I hope I will be forgiven for my little ‘cheat’ of the day. I promised a picture every day. But today, it is just a screenshot.
