Project 365: Day 168 – All set. Leaving soon.

16th December 2014 – Kolkata, India

The beast has to go, I arranged for departure,
And for myself too, leaving the clutches of this dogged city.
The time here has taken a toll on my writing skills too.
I can’t think of anything funny, or even remotely witty.

The Indira gandhi memorial in Kolkata, India

I finally booked my bike transfer today. Gati KWE is a leading provider of transport services in India, and for the process of packing and shipping my bike from Kolkata to Chennai, where my brother lives, they quoted me a total fee of INR4900. Pretty sweet deal, if I try to compare. I have to go back tomorrow, and give my bike for packing. It takes just 5 days for the bike to arrive in my destination in Chennai.

I also ended up booking my flight from Kolkata to Chennai. So, the idea is simple: to send my bike through Gati tomorrow, and then catch my flight tomorrow night.

And finally, the Kolkata episode looks like it is ending tomorrow night.
