Project 365: Day 72 – And I am gone!

11th September 2014 – Kozhikode, India

The aura is back, and the beast is back on the road again.
New goals to aim for, and new milestones to conquer.
In this rat pack’s world, everyone is chasing something.
But distance is just numbers. Its only the memories that I am after.
I am rested. I am ready. - Kozhikode, India

I am rested. I am ready. – Kozhikode, India

Whenever I come home for a day or two, circumstances always make them a few. So, here I was, again stuck at home for a 4-day period. Onam extended, I call it.

But no more. I finally got the royal enfield after my first service, and its shining like a baby’s bottom. So today, the ride begins. First stop in the district of Malapuram in Kerala, where I plan to stay at a friend’s home. And then make my way all through to Chennai, before I collect a pillion friend from the airport, and then proceed to Goa. And from Goa, the tortuous way to Nepal, via Rajasthan. And from Nepal to Bhutan, and then back to Kerala. Approximately 12000 KMs round-trip.

The next 2 months are both exciting and scary at the same time. But there is an adrenaline rush that follows the thought of realising that you have no idea what’s out there.

If it helps, I am carrying a knife. Just in case.
