23rd March 2015 – Warsaw, Poland
It has been a long road, ladies and gentleman And I’ve watched the days go by, counting them. This is not another landmark day or a milestone. But there are only hundred more days for this gem.
It takes a little bit of time to realise that I only have 100 days ahead of me now.
Let me make it clear. Travelling is never tiring for me. If I had the money, I would have made this a project 3650, instead of just a year. But the dullness seems to now creep in because of the daily documentation and photography. There are some days, and more so in this climate, when I would just love to stay indoors and not go out and take any pictures. But I’ve come so far, so wouldn’t be a wise thing to leave the project when it just has a 100 days more.
So, today wasn’t different too. I packed my stuff in the morning, since I had a flight in the evening, but went out for a while to Lazienski park again, where I was a couple of days ago. After admiring the water palace, and some cute young couples, I came back, bid goodbye to my amazing host for the last couple of days, and was off to Warsaw Chopin.
And reached Brussels by 8 PM, where my friend Annemie picked me, and drove me to Leuven, a short drive away from Brussels.
So, tomorrow you will hear from me, from Leuven.
